The Millennium Harper program ran from the millennium year of 2000, through 2008. Harpers were challenged to define their own quests, and then to claim their Millennium Harper Awards. These titles were awarded based on evidence of a “worthy record of live performances” that is a “substantial service to your community.” Also, it was to stretch your comfort level as a person and performer. Finally, skill level was not important.
